Our next Training Seminar will be just after the Northeast Glass
Expo on Friday March 27th, 2009, in Long Island (Hauppauge) New
York. The seminar will be held at the
Sheraton Long Island Hotel, down the street from the glass
show. It will be held from 10am to 4pm with a break for lunch.

offering our next set of Training Seminars to coincide
with this show. The glass show is on May 15-16th, 2009 in Las
Vegas. There will be two training classes available for the New
V15 WinBidPro software:
Beginning v15 Training &
Advanced v15 Training
The Beginning class will be
offered on Wednesday, May 13th, 2009, and the Advanced class
will be on Saturday, May 16th, 2009. See our

Important GDS News
v15.1.5 Now Available!
Go to the
WinBidPro v15 page, read the
directions and download the latest
release of this new program. If you have a current
subscription to the GDS software, this
version will use the same license.
Version 15 installs as a whole new
program, and does not affect the v14
program that you may already have. You
can use both program until you get
comfortable with the new one.
Are you new to v15 WinBidPro?
Please
take some time to view our Training
Videos on the
Training page, and you can click the
Help link at the top of the menu tree
inside the program to view our initial
help documentation. We also urge you to
use our
Forum for support with WinBidPro.
There are many questions that have
already been answered, so it is possible
that your question will be there as
well.
v15 Drawing Window Problem
If
you see a problem with your elevation
drawings not refreshing properly when
you run the v15 program, you might need
to update your Display Adapter driver in
Windows. You will need to know the brand
and chipset of your video card in order
to find the latest drivers. You can
usually find this in the Control Panel
under the System icon, then the Device
Manager window. Click the Display
Adapter item in that window and you
should find what you need. Check with
your computer manufacturer if all else
fails, and they can point you to the
drivers updates.
Important v15 Tech Issues
Sharing Catalogs:
WinBidPro v15 allows multiple people to use the
same vendor catalogs. Read this help document on
Sharing Vendor Catalogs to learn how to set
this up on your network.
Program Already Running
Message:
If you get a message that WinBidPro is "already
running" on your computer when you try to open
WinBidPro, you should reboot your computer.
Sometimes this occurs after installing the
program, and shouldn't happen again after
rebooting.
If
you have questions about using GDS software and
want to see what your fellow glaziers have for
an answer, go to one of our user forum pages.
Here you can post your questions and give
answers to others. If you don't get an answer
from someone at GDS, you may get an answer from
someone else in the industry. Click a specific
link in the menu to the left, or go straight to our
