2009 GDS WinBidPro Training Classes, Where and When? |
 |
|
|
There are no more seminars
planned for 2009. We will be working on a 2010 schedule which
will offer different level classes for new and experienced
users. |
How to Sign Up and How Much?
The cost is $125 per person for early registration, and
$150 for late registration. We highly recommend that you
reserve a seat well in advance, as these classes are always
full. The seating limit is 35-40 people per class, so don't wait until the
last minute to sign up! Call our sales department at
858-538-4375, or send an email to sales using the link on our
home page in the lower left section of the page.
What's Included?
South Point has a number of restaurants to choose
from for food for the lunch break. Coffee, sodas, pastries and
cookies will also be provided to keep everyone nice and alert.
You will want to bring a laptop computer with a scroll mouse (if
possible), and we will supply a handout covering the seminar
material, and power strips for power.
What's Covered?
The Beginning Class: This class is designed for anyone
who has recently started using, or is new to the WinBidPro
software. The concepts and necessities for getting started with
v15 will be covered, along with all of the basic features in the
program that will make you a confident user when creating bids.
You will also learn the printing and reporting features that let
you take full advantage of the ordering material and glass, and
fabricating a job from an optimized stock list. There will be
lots of time for questions and the pace of the class will be
ideally suited for new users.
The Advanced Class: This class is geared toward people
that have using WinBidPro for at least a few months, but are
still not familiar with all of the power of features in the
program. You will learn about the intricacies of editing and
configuring framing systems, door frames,
and door leafs. The many features in the optimizer will be
covered, along with labor and markup reports. There will be time
to cover more complicated elevation drawings that require
modifying systems for different elevations and the use of the
built-in CAD software to fine tune drawings and create your shop
drawings. The
goal is to show you the most efficient way to use the program in
order to make bidding as fast and simple as possible.
