(the makers of AutoCAD) sells a program called AutoSketch which
can be found for around $200. A little more costly than QuickCAD
(the version it replaced)
was, but it very easy to use (for a CAD program) and plenty
powerful for creating professional shop drawings. Search for AutoSketch

Microsoft Installer Clean Up
Utility If you have
trouble Installing or Uninstalling a GDS program, or any other
program, click the following link and select "Run" to install
the program, or "Save" to save it to your computer first, and
then install it. Once this Cleanup Utility is installed, you
should have an item under Start - All Programs, called
"Windows Install Clean Up". Run this utility and you will see a
list of programs installed on your computer. Click the program
you want to uninstall, and click "Remove". You should now be
able to Install the program you were having trouble with.

Viewer v7 from
Evolution Computing is a FREE CAD viewing tool that will
open any of the DXF and/or DWG drawings from the GDS software
and let you view and print them. Use this tool if you are having
trouble with the built-in shopdrawing tool in the v14 program,
or the CAD tool in the v15 program. Since the GDS software
creates the CAD files for you, this tool will always let you
view and print them.
If you like this tool, you might also like their full featured
CAD programs, EasyCAD and FastCAD. These are both very powerful
and easy to use CAD programs.

Get a free utility that will let you print almost anything to a
Adobe Acrobat PDF file. This utility installs a new printer
driver for Windows. When you select the PDF printer driver, and
print your document, you are prompted to enter a file name for
the PDF file and to select the folder to save it in. Once this
file is saved, you can copy, print, or even email it. |
