This page contains detail
files for use with the Shopdrawing tool in v14.1 of the GDS
System.
Be prepared for a long download if you have a
dialup connection. DWG files don't compress very much and there
are lots of files for each vendor. Take note of the file size to
get an idea of how long the download might take.
You need to be a licensed user of the v14.1 program in order to
install any of these details. Contact us by phone or email if
you would like to purchase this version of the program, or if
you have any questions.
Be sure to watch the Training Videos on the v14.1 CD-ROM and/or
read the Shopdrawing Program help inside the Help menu in the
GDS program. There are several little tricks that you will not
discover unless you spend the time to review the provided help. |
Download and installation instructions:
1. Click on a vendor detail link below to
download the file to your computer. Make sure you choose the
option to save the file to disk. When asked for a destination to
save to, choose your "My Documents" folder if you are
unsure.
2. After the file is downloaded, run the file and click the UnZip
button to extract the required files to a C:\GDSDetailSetup
folder on your computer.
3. Next, you will have to run the DWGSetup.exe file inside the
GDSDetailSetup folder in order to start the installation
program. Once the install program starts, you will be prompted
to install the vendor you have downloaded. Follow the prompt
presented to you.
4. Lastly, you will be asked to select a vendor that is listed
in the GDS v14.1 program to copy the detail files into. Make
sure you select the latest v14.1 vendor that matches the details
you are installing, otherwise the drawings won't be associated
to the proper framing systems. |
